Comenzó a eruptar lava con el ocaso y no paró durante las horas que allí estuvimos. Las explosiones eran tan fuertes que la tierra temblaba bajo nuestros pies. Hubo una especialmente fuerte a eso de la 1 de la mañana que nos despertó a todos, parecía que aquel monstruo nos engulliría en la noche.
It started erupting lava at sunset and it didn’t stop during the hours that we were there. The explosions were so strong and loud that the floor was vibrating under our feet. One of them was particularly strong around 1in the morning and woke us all up. It seemed as if that monster would swallow us in the night.
